GPSD（General Product Safety Directive）即一般產(chǎn)品安全指令，為了確保消費品的安全，通用產(chǎn)品安全指令2001/95/EC（GPSD）對消費者投放市場(chǎng)或可能被消費者使用的任何產(chǎn)品（包括所有產(chǎn)品）規定了一般安全要求提供服務(wù)。
任何參與歐盟市場(chǎng)產(chǎn)品的商業(yè)開(kāi)發(fā)或質(zhì)量保證的人都一定會(huì )了解涵蓋其產(chǎn)品的特定指令。隨著(zhù)技術(shù)的發(fā)展，所有行業(yè)和新產(chǎn)品的出現，商品將開(kāi)始超出特定指令的范圍，或者最初不打算供消費者使用的商品開(kāi)始被消費者使用是可行的。在這些情況下，適用通用產(chǎn)品安全指令（GPSD）2001/95 EC。
GPSD是用于保護消費者健康和安全的所有安，適用于該地區所有新的和二手貨物，這些貨物不屬于自己的行業(yè)特定法規，但可供消費者使用（無(wú)論它們是否實(shí)際使用）是否適合消費者。

根據一般產(chǎn)品安全指令GPSD規定，生產(chǎn)商有責任確保在市場(chǎng)上銷(xiāo)售的產(chǎn)品均屬安全。這項規定適用于在市場(chǎng)銷(xiāo)售的所有產(chǎn)品，或以其他方式向消費者供應的一切產(chǎn)品。根據下列幾項因素確定產(chǎn)品是否安全：

申請CE-GPSD指令的辦理流程

1、項目申請，遞交CE認證申請；

2、資料準備，根據CE認證要求，企業(yè)準備好相關(guān)的認證文件；

3、產(chǎn)品測試，寄樣到實(shí)驗室進(jìn)行測試；

4、簽發(fā)證書(shū)，報告審核無(wú)誤后，頒發(fā)CE認證證書(shū)。
